2. Service Usage and Intellectual Property Rights
You agree to use the Canada Startup Visa portal solely for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe upon the rights of others or restrict their use and enjoyment of the Service. Prohibited behavior includes harassing or causing distress or inconvenience to any person, transmitting obscene or offensive content, disrupting the normal flow of dialogue within our platform, and attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems. All content, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, provincial guides, tech sector insights, and business advisory materials, remains the intellectual property of Canada Startup Visa or its content providers. You may not reproduce, distribute, or transmit any content without prior written permission.
- Impersonating any person or entity, including immigration consultants, venture capitalists, or Canada Startup Visa staff, or falsifying your credentials or business information.
- Using automated tools, bots, or scrapers to extract data from the Service without authorization, or attempting to reverse-engineer any proprietary technology or algorithms.
- Posting, uploading, or transmitting spam, malware, viruses, or any content that violates applicable laws, including immigration regulations, securities laws, or data protection regulations (GDPR, CCPA, PIPEDA).
3. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The Canada Startup Visa Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that defects will be corrected. Immigration advice, business advisory services, and startup visa program information provided through this portal are for informational purposes only and do not constitute legal advice. Users are strongly encouraged to consult with licensed immigration lawyers and business advisors before making decisions regarding the Canadian Startup Visa program.
